Group-work
At the last day our group made a poster about the mulde. And here’s the text:
Our poster was about the river Mulde, which is near the Elbe. Many people from our school worked at it, and some people from Brandenburg. On our poster we had some traffic lights for the dates. Green means good and red bad. We detected that the phosphate level wasn’t good, that means there isn’t much oxygen in the water. Although the oxygen concentration was still normal, that means that not many alga grow, and the electric conductivity is normal, too. So there isn?t so much salt in the water. The pH-value, the nitrit and the ammonium level were excellent. The pH-Value was 7, so it’s good for our skin. Too much nitrit interrupts the transport of the oxygen. And too much ammonium in the water is toxic for the fish. Only the nitrate level wasn’t good, that means that too many plants will grow. All in all the river Mulde is one of the cleanest rivers in Germany. All in all the river Mulde is one of the cleanest rivers in Germany.
